Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous TV shows. She is an Afghan American actress who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth the family relocated towards America. US. The family was granted asylum in the US and permitted to stay. Her family was raised in Northern Virginia and is the third child of two sisters. Ghanizada got her start in the field of TV with a few National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the most outstanding actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she was the character Chiara. The actress was a guest star in several TV shows, such as How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Recent roles include an appearance as a character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) - based on the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift she played holistic doctor the Dr. Saira Bastra.
